Certified by the U.S. Department of Justice to audit adult correctional facilities to measure compliance with the standards and individual provisions delineated in the Code of Federal Regulations in 2012. As a jail administrator I was involved in the adaptation of the promulgated PREA standards and thereafter implemented the required policy and practice changes. I bring that underpinning experience with me when auditing facilities or preparing them for audit.
